Understand How Staff Is Assigned When You Choose All Staff

If you choose All staff during booking, the system should assign an available eligible staff member automatically.

What All staff means

It does not mean your appointment stays permanently unassigned.

It means:

  • you do not need to choose a specific staff member
  • the system will find a staff member who can handle the booking

How assignment works

The system should only assign staff who are:

  • active
  • assigned to the selected service
  • available during that time
  • not already booked for that slot

What you may see after booking

After the booking is confirmed, your appointment should show a real staff member when one has been assigned.

If no staff can be assigned

The booking should not succeed just as an ambiguous placeholder. If no eligible staff member is available, the business may need to adjust availability or service coverage.
