Create an Appointment Manually

Audience: Vendor

When to use this

Use this for:

  • walk-ins
  • phone bookings
  • bookings entered by staff

Before you start

  • At least one service must exist.
  • At least one active staff member must exist.
  • The selected time must be within business and staff availability.

Where to create appointments

You can create appointments from:

  • /calendar
  • /appointments

Steps

  1. Open the appointment creation flow.
  2. Select the service.
  3. Select the staff member.
    • If All staff is allowed in the flow, the system may auto-assign an available staff member.
  4. Select the date.
  5. Select the time.
  6. Enter client details.
  7. Save the appointment.

What happens next

  • The appointment appears in calendar and appointment lists.
  • It will show its current status, such as pending or confirmed.
  • Staff assignment and timing affect availability immediately.

Common issues

I get an out-of-business-hours error

The selected time is outside business hours or staff hours.

I cannot save because of overlap

The selected slot conflicts with another appointment or a blocked period.

No staff are available

Check:

  • active staff
  • assigned services
  • working hours
  • blocked time

The public booking side shows a different time

If this happens, verify the booking was created after the recent timezone fixes and confirm all pages now show the same local time.
