When to use this

Use this when you want clients to book using your public booking page.

Before you start

  • Your business setup should be complete.
  • You must have at least one active staff member.
  • Your services and hours should be configured.

What the public booking page does

Customers can:

  • choose a service
  • choose a staff member or any available staff
  • select date and time
  • verify with OTP
  • confirm the booking

Important requirement

At least one active staff member is required before public booking should be used.

Without active staff:

  • the booking link should not be treated as ready
  • client booking should not proceed normally

Steps

  1. Open /dashboard.
  2. Use the booking-link or share action.
  3. Copy the link and share it with clients.

Typical public URLs:

  • /book
  • /book/:businessId

What happens next

  • Customers open the booking page for your business.
  • They complete OTP verification before the booking is finalized.
  • Confirmed bookings feed into vendor-side appointment views.

Common issues

The public booking link is disabled

Most likely there is no active staff member yet.

Customers cannot find any available times

Check:

  • business hours
  • staff hours
  • service setup
  • blocked time
  • existing bookings

OTP fails for clients

This may be caused by:

  • SMS configuration issues
  • invalid SMS provider credentials
  • rate limiting
