Mento includes notification-related behavior across vendor and client workflows, but notification depth can vary by area.
What notifications are used for
Notifications can support:
- appointment updates
- booking confirmations
- proposed time changes
- reminders
- operational awareness for the business
Where you may see them
Depending on the surface you are using, notifications may appear through:
- the vendor portal
- in-app mobile flows
- SMS in selected client-facing flows
What to expect today
Notification support exists, but not every notification-related setting is a fully polished self-service workflow yet.
Use the current notification behavior as operational support, not as a complete notification-management suite.
Practical guidance
Use notifications as a supplement to:
- clear booking details
- accurate business hours
- correct staff assignment
Do not rely on reminder behavior alone to correct scheduling mistakes or missing setup.
If reminders or alerts look incomplete
That may reflect current product coverage rather than a setup mistake. If a workflow depends on a notification that is not appearing reliably, confirm the appointment state directly in the vendor portal.
