Troubleshoot Booking Time and Time Zone Issues

If a booking time looks wrong in one screen but correct in another, check the basics below first.

Common symptoms

  • a booking appears at the wrong time in an appointment list
  • a client says the SMS time is different from the app time
  • a calendar view and a list view do not agree
  • booking creation is rejected as outside business hours

What to check first

  1. Confirm the business working hours.
  2. Confirm the selected appointment date.
  3. Confirm the assigned staff member is actually available at that time.
  4. Refresh the page after recent changes to business hours or staff schedules.

Business hours and closures

If a slot is rejected, the most common reasons are:

  • outside business hours
  • closed day
  • a closure is configured
  • the selected staff member is not available

Review:

  • weekly hours
  • closures
  • staff schedule

Calendar vs list differences

If one view looks correct and another does not:

  • refresh both views
  • confirm you are looking at the same date
  • confirm the appointment was newly created after recent fixes

If old bookings still show historical time issues, the record may have been created before a time-handling fix was applied.

Public booking issues

If clients report problems from the public booking page:

  • confirm the business has at least one active staff member
  • confirm the chosen service is assigned to staff
  • confirm the booking was made for an open day and valid business hour

When to escalate

Escalate the issue if:

  • new bookings consistently save at the wrong time
  • multiple screens disagree after refresh
  • business hours are correct but valid times are blocked

When reporting the issue, include:

  • business name
  • selected date
  • selected time
  • expected time
  • where the wrong time appears
