Set Business Hours and Closures

Audience: Vendor

When to use this

Use this when you need to define when your business accepts bookings and when it is unavailable.

Where to manage this

You can manage hours and closures from:

  • onboarding hours setup
  • /profile
  • calendar blocking flows for date-specific unavailability

What business hours control

Business hours affect:

  • available appointment times
  • public booking date and time selection
  • vendor-side appointment validation

Steps to set business hours

  1. Open your hours setup in onboarding or profile.
  2. Select the days your business is open.
  3. Enter the start and end time for each open day.
  4. Save the changes.

Steps to add closures

  1. Open the profile or calendar-based unavailability flow.
  2. Choose the date or date range.
  3. Add a reason if needed.
  4. Save the closure.

What happens next

  • Appointments outside those hours should no longer be valid.
  • Public booking availability updates based on business hours.
  • Calendar views reflect the working window and blocked periods.

Common issues

A booking shows outside my intended hours

Check:

  • business hours
  • staff hours
  • time zone configuration

Customers cannot see any time slots

Check:

  • at least one open business day exists
  • active staff exist
  • services are configured
  • the day is not fully blocked

My staff are available, but the business still looks closed

Business hours can still override staff availability at the overall business level.
